Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a minimum night stay? Bank holiday weekends are a minimum 3-night stay. Weekends from June – September are a minimum 2-night stay.

How do I make sure I am pitched with my friends or family? If you have booked an electric pitch please email us your reference number and we will do our best to ensure your pitches are next to each other. Please note - for ehu pitches if you wish to camp next to your friends you must all book the same size pitch. For non-electric bookings, we do not allocate pitches, so just turn up and find yourself a pitch. The family that arrives first can mark out a reasonable sized area for the other family.

Can I bring my dog? Obedient dogs are welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must not be left unattended. Please clean up immediately after your dog.

Do you have electric hook up? We have electric hook up with a 10amp supply. Please bring a 15 metre cable with a male IP44 rated site socket plug.

Can I bring a bbq or fire pit? You can bring your own bbq or fire pit as long as it is raised off the ground and does not burn the grass. Disposable bbq's should be on a stand which you can borrow from reception with a £10 deposit. No open fires are allowed. Please note if you burn the grass, you will be charged £25 for its repair.

Can I hire a fire pit from you? You can hire one of our fire baskets from reception and it comes with logs and kindling. You can't pre-book these, but you can get one on arrival.

Can I charge my phone? The toilet and shower block has plug sockets or we can charge your phone at reception.

What time can I arrive and depart? Check in is from 1pm and check out is 12pm. Reception closes at 7pm each evening (9pm Friday, high season only). If you cannot make this time please let us know.

What are your noise regulations? Please be considerate to your neighbours at all times. Quiet hours are between 10:30pm and 7:00am. No vehicle movements during these times. Please be aware that this is a family campsite and excessive noise will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Can I play music? Music players/radios must be kept to a reasonable volume and switched off by 9:00pm.

Can I bring an electric generator? We do not allow generators on the site due to the noise they create. We do offer electric hook up camping pitches.

Can I charge my EV on site? We do not currently offer electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities on our site, however, this is something we are looking into for the future. Please ask at reception to locate your closest public charging points.
